Super Mario Odyssey sold 511,625 copies in just 3 days in Japan. This information comes from the latest Famitsu numbers. This number includes everything except download sales so it is expected to be even higher.
Even with these high numbers, Super Mario didn’t bead Splatoon 2 that sold 670,955 copies in the same time period after launch in July.
Nintendo Switch sales also got boosted. The console sold 133,000 units last week which is great compared to last weeks 24,000 units. Super Mario Odyssey bundles played a big role here for sure.
Super Mario Odyssey is having a great start and Nintendo announced that the game was sold in more than 2 million copies earlier this week.
